AYeconomics at the WEAI conference in San Diego
AYeconomics along with some of its collaborators participated in the conference organized by the Western Economic Association International (WEAI) in San Diego from June 25 to 29. Ronald L. Oaxaca from the University of Arizona and Eva Sierminska from the Luxembourg Institute of Socioeconomic research organized the special session “WOMEN IN THE LABOR MARKET” with great success, in which AYeconomics took part. The speakers at the session were:

- Dominique Meurs, Institut National d’Etudes Demographiques, paper on The Gender Wage Gap: The Effects of Hiring, Acquisitions and Job Tenure.
- Eva Sierminska, Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research, paper on Specialization in Economics: A Gender Story?
